There were a few things I noticed about the quiet around me: it was dark, not
terrifyingly so, but dark nonetheless. It was comfortably warm, warm enough to keep a hazy
grin on my face. I let out an easy yawn, stretching my arms out on the cool surface of what the
back of my mind remembered was my desk. The peaceful nap I was currently enjoying ended
abruptly as the sharp crack of a ruler snapping on my desk had me jolt upright. I felt slightly embarrassed as I heard the quiet laughs and giggles of my classmates.
